Enduro Bike Spectacular ends in Disaster

When approached by father and son enduro motorcross enduro bike team, Jon and Tom Hinkley from Newquay in Cornwall to help sponsor their ride in the Weston Super Mare Extreme Beach Enduro race, Car Insurance TV’s MotorBike Insurance division were only too pleased to oblige as they were riding in aid of the Precious Lives Childrens Hospital Appeal…

Unforunately yesterdays race had to be stopped when over forty riders were involved in a mass pile up in horrific weather conditions on the treacherous sands.

Jon was involved in the rear of the pile up which left him unconcious after the 70mph collision and he is now recovering.
Unfortunately 18 riders were taken to hospital in a serious condition and there are unconfirmed reports of fatalities.
Tom is shaken but OK and the lads have raised nearly two thousand pounds so far for the Appeal.
